The Devil’s claw or root of a devilish claw is the name of the root of the plant Harpogophytum procumbens, which grows in the Kalahari Savannah in South Africa, Madagascar and Namibian steppes.<\/p>\n
As a supplement the dried roots are used. African and European healers have used it for centuries for a variety of purposes. Its useful ingredients are primarily iridoidni glucosides including Harpagosites. The Devil’s Claw also contains useful bioflavonoids and phytosterols.<\/p>\n
