Biotagen prebiotics

Biotagen is a versatile mix of prebiotics for intestinal microbiota optimisation. It contains specially selected forms of soluble fiber, which can be fermented by intestinal bacteria or used for their food. This greatly stimulates the growth of bacteria that colonizees the intestines. Prebiotic designed to selectively stimulate the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria. BiotaGen combines inulin from Chicory with immune-modulating mechanisms from lacrh Arabinogalactanes and purified beta-glucans.

Inuline from Chicory

Chicory is a Fructan inuline type known specifically by its characteristics to increase the populations of Bifidobacteria, Lactobacillii and Eubacteria, the important types of bacteria producing large amounts of butyrate (short chain fatty acids that serves as a food source for intestinal cells, enterocites). Because gastric acid and intestinal enzymes cannot break down Inulin, it passes easily into the colon, where probiotic bacteria are located.

Arabinogalactan

Arabinogalactan is Polysaccharide, which is derived from Western larch. It is highly soluble in water and extremely fermentable (food for intestinal bacteria). It passes through the stomach and the small intestine to the final destination in the colon without a problem. There it serves as food for good intestinal bacteria, specific Lactobaicilii. They process it into short chain fatty acids (acetate, Butyrate and propionate) and reduce the production of ammonia.

Arabinogalactan regulates the digestion and reduces constipation (EFSA-Q-2008-2179).

Beta-Glucan

Beta-Glukanis are polysaccharides of glucose and are brebiotic fiber. They have a wide range of benefits to the whole body by influencing monocytes and macrophages.

Beta Glukani also effectively regulate high blood fat (cholesterol).

Contains no allergens

Biotagen prebiotics are produced in such a way that they do not contain allergens such as milk/casein, eggs, fish, nuts, nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten and soybeans. It does not contain artificial dyes, flavourings or preservatives.
