D-Mannose powder is a simple sugar that is found in nature in different plants. The most famous for Mannose are cranberries and their therapeutic properties are also derived from it. D-Mannose is a concentrated active ingredients from cranberrys. Each spoon replacec a huge amount of cranberry.
It is a sugar that is mostly not metabolized in our body and thus D-Mannose is readily excreted through the urinary tract with urine, that being its most typical trait (and effect). D-Mannose powder is completely natural.
For bladder infection (UTI) Chris Kresser suggest you take 500mg (1/2 teaspoons) of D-mannose every 3 to 4 hours at least 5 days. Dissolve it in natural juice, which contains a lot of vitamin C.
