Gastrothera (glutamine and prebiotics of the intestines)

Gastrothera provides a good support for the entire digestive tract as it takes care of the energy needed for the function of the stomach and intestine lining, structural composition of intestinal cells, the balance of intestinal microorganisms and the excretion of protective secretions of mucous membranes of the intestine. Gastrothera is an excellent complement to multi-vitamin formulas, which are generally lacking glutamine. It also complements probiotics, because with prebiotic fiber it allows probiotics to grow and form colonies of good bacteria in the intestines.

You can take it regularly, daily or occasionally when you need extra support for healthy intestines. Povder is of neutral flavor and melts very well in liquid.

Glutamine

Glutamine is an amino acid that is also found in food. Its primary role is to supply the fuel to the enterocites (cells of the intestinal wall). Enterocytes have a great need for energy, because the intestines (along with the liver) are a powerful metabolic-active organ. And without energy there is no life and optimum performance.

Excellent types of prebiotics

Gastrothera contains two types of prebiotic fiber, very gentle, acacia fibre and inulin. Both belong to the soluble fiber category, which can be fermented by intestinal bacteria, therefore used as their food. With fermentation also short chain fatty acids are produced, such as butyrate, which feeds the cells of the intestinal wall in the colon (glutamine is fully consumed in the small intestine).

N-acetyl-D-glucosamine

N-acetyl-D-glucosamine helps to form important secretions of intestinal tissues and helps food to travel through the intestines.

Contains no allergens

Gastrothera is produced in such a way that it contains no allergens such as milk/casein, eggs, fish, nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten and soybeans. It does not contain artificial dyes, flavourings or preservatives. Because of the composition it contains shellfish (crab/shrimp).
