When there’s too much magnesium in the intestines, the body will be flush it with water and try to get rid of it as soon as possible. The result is softer stools or even diarrhea. From this bowel irritation derives the laxative effect of magnesium.

Bonding with different elements the molecules are bigger or smaller (and consequently also tablets will be of different sizes). First of all, it is true that in one small pill you cannot obtain a sufficient daily amount of magnesium (or it is of poor quality and will not be absorbed).

How do I use magnesium glycinate powder?

Mix 1 scoop with any liquid and drink.

Magnesium can be taken with or without a meal.

If you dislike the taste try with different liquids. That can dramatically change the flavor (e.g. already a mix with mineral water has a different flavor than with tap water), or use capsules.
