Country Life Molybdenum
Molybdenum is an essential mineral, which means that the body cannot create it by itsel and thus must be obtained from diet. It participates as a cofactor in three groups of Enzymes. Its main task is to metabolize amino acids with sulfur, which means that it has an important task in maintaining the balance of sulfur in the body and the lack of molybdenum is actually manifested as symptoms of sulfur poisoning.
Sulfur
Sulfur is also an essential element for Life. The main sources of sulfur in the body are three amino acids (cysteine, cystine and methionine) and two vitamin (biotin and thiamin). Many other substances in the body need sulfur and one of the most important is surely “main body antioxidant” Glutathione. Sulfur is also an integral part of the keratin protein that is found in the skin and hair.
Sulfur is also the main ingredient of dietary supplement MSM, which is used for bone health.
Sulphation
