Vitamin K helps with mineralization of bones
Vitamin K works in combination with vitamin D and helps the body save calcium in the bones contributing to good mineralization. In this way, it can prevent osteoporosis, pain and fractures in bones and joints and prevent calcinations (loading of calcium in soft tissues and veins).

Vitamin K in nature exists in several different forms. Most important for our body is Vitamin K2 (in Healthy Origins K2 as Menquinone-7 (MK-7))
Appropriate doses of vitamin K2
The Vitamin K2 is effective only in high doses. Some recommend doses of 2,000 mcg upwards. Vitamin K2 is not toxic even in high doses.
Healthy Origins MK-7 contains a bioactive form of Vitamin K2 (MK7), which is 10x better absorbed than usual Vitamin K supplements.
Vitamin K and Vitamin D
Vitamin K and vitamin D work together synergistically in the directing calcium into the bones so they are best taken together.

How do I use Vitamin K2?
Take 2 softgels daily with a meal.
We recommend you take it with a combination of vitamin D and a sufficient intake of vitamin A with food.
