Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Licorice DGL is a special form of licorice root where Glycyrrhizin has been removed. Glycyrrhizin is a typical component of the Licorice root that affects the stress hormones (adrenal glands) and raises blood pressure. Without this ingredient you can enjoy the useful features of the Licorice root as it was used already traditionally, as an herb to support digestion.
Licorice root helps and supports digestion (EFSA-Q-2008-4488),
It strengthens and restores the gastric and intestinal mucosa.
